Runners Adventures was founded in 1996 by Carlos Medrano in the Dominican Republic, with the vision of offering travelers the best experiences of local culture. We began operations under the name Bávaro Runners in Punta Cana and, thanks to our success, we are now present in multiple destinations: Puerto Plata, Samaná, Juan Dolio, Boca Chica, La Romana, Bayahibe, and Punta Cana.

We are leaders in the industry and have been recognized with several awards, including Best Adventure Travel Company in the Dominican Republic by Luxury Travel Guide (2016 and 2017), as well as multiple TripAdvisor Certificates of Excellence, which have earned us a place in its Hall of Fame.

We were also certified by the Association for Challenge Course Technology (ACCT) for our Zipline excursions in Punta Cana, La Romana, Puerto Plata, and Samaná (2015–2017).
