With the goal of strengthening the complementary tourism offering—including excursions, theme parks, adventure tourism, and ecotourism—operators and business owners dedicated to these activities established the Dominican Association of Parks and Tourism Excursions (ADOPETUR).
For several years, industry stakeholders have been working to develop, propose, and promote strategies for the growth and development of the adventure tourism and ecotourism sector, aiming to make it a key differentiating factor and a decisive element in travelers’ choice of tourist destinations worldwide.
